The Maritim Hotel Ingolstadt is connected to the recently finished Congress Centre, which is also operated by Maritim Hotelgesellschaft. We are therefore very happy to now be able to put our decades-long experience to good use in Ingolstadt as well. The Maritim Hotel and Congress Centre are state-of-the-art facilities with an excellent team that will offer warm hospitality and top-notch service,” says Dr. Monika Gommolla, owner and supervisory board chair of Maritim Hotelgesellschaft mbH.

Director Jan Lohmann (41), who has already successfully implemented the pre-opening phase, is responsible for leading the team. “The demand is already tremendous now, we are nearly fully booked in June. In addition, we are receiving inquires for celebrations like weddings or other events every day. Even the Congress Centre is already exceptionally well occupied; it is almost fully booked for autumn. This is an excellent start for us, which we are of course very happy about,” the hotel manager reports.

A start which will be commended during the grand opening ceremony on Monday, 19 June 2023, with project members and invited high-ranking guests from the world of politics, business and culture at the new Maritim Hotel and Congress Centre. It is at that time that the modern and spacious event capacities will be fully used for the first time. The hotel itself has a 170 sq. metre room for 152 people. The 4th level features a rooftop terrace with a view of the castle, offering a variety of options for festive events and incentives. The gastronomical heart of the new Maritim Hotel is the “Danubio” Restaurant with spacious terrace and view of the Danube, complemented by the “Ingold” Bistro offering international haute cuisine with Bavarian accents, as well as the “barRista” Café and Piano Bar with live music.

Feel-good Comfort

A city trip to Ingolstadt is always worthwhile; most people first associate the second-largest city in Upper Bavaria with the automotive industry, while this town on the Danube has much more to offer. The new Maritim Hotel Ingolstadt is situated in the direct vicinity of the New Castle with the main collection of the Bavarian Army Museum and the Audi Academy. You can reach the historic Old Town by foot. The Kreuztor is quite special, as an Ingolstadt landmark and one of the most beautiful city gates in Germany. Visitors to the city will also find a real jewel of Bavarian rococco, the Maria de Victoria Asam Church. Yet the Ingolstadt Cathedral is just as impressive. According to the legend, 3800 logs were processed for its enormous timber framing. On special occasions, you can climb the south tower and enjoy the view of the city from the Liebfrauenmünster cathedral. The Klenzepark, a favourite of both Ingolstadt inhabitants as well as tourists, is situated on the south bank of the Danube. The former grounds of the horticultural show feature a magnificent waterfront promenade, a waterfront stage for open-air performances and concerts, an adventure-filled rainbow playground for children and a rose garden. The Reduit Tilly, the core component of the Landfestung Ingolstadt fort, is also integrated into the park.

Thanks to its central location, the new Maritim Hotel and Congress Centre Ingolstadt offers business travellers and city hoppers plenty of feel-good comfort. After a strenuous day, guests can unwind in the spacious relaxation area with swimming pool, sauna and massage offer or in the fitness room featuring treadmill, cross-trainer, weight bench, exercise bike and pulley machine.

A convenient arrival and departure is guaranteed; the main train station is only 4 km away, the motorway is a 5-minute drive away, and the Hotel and Congress Centre offers plenty of parking space as well as E-charging stations.
